Matías Hurtado Labarca is an industrial designer who graduated from Universidad Diego Portales in 2022. As part of his degree project, he worked on a myoelectrically controlled 3D printed prosthetic. He is passionate about creating new products that can enhance people’s lives. His main areas of interest encompass interdisciplinary work, advanced 3D modeling, 3D printing, robotics, and product design. Along with his work, he is also a co-founder of Project CASKU-3D, which provides orthopedic 3D helmets to babies with cranial asymmetries. He plays an essential role in producing our documentation, designing 3D products and lab equipment, as well as helping to organize our workshops.
