2-level microscopy stage

This is a variant of the Strobe-Enhanced Microscope Stage. It is still a laboratory-grade microscope for imaging fast-moving objects.

Before you start building the station you will need to source all the components listed in our bill of materials (, ).

Instructions

These instructions will take you through how to assemble the 2-level version of the station. There is also a 3-level version if you need a room for placing your boards and protected them in the station.

The assembly is broken up into several steps:

1. Print the plastic parts
2. Laser cut the acrylic parts
3. Assemble the focus mechanism
4. Assemble the basic optics module
5. Attach parts to the top plate
6. Attach parts to the middle plate
7. Mount the optics
8. Assemble the illumination
9. Complete the wiring
10. Assembly complete
